Classic Milk Drinking Chocolate
Real milk chocolate hot chocolate, made in Ghana from Ghanaian cocoa. Rich, creamy and deeply chocolatey: the cup everyone comes back to.
We make our drinking chocolate in Accra, a short drive from the farms where the cacao is grown. Classic Milk is the simplest thing we make and the hardest to get right: 43% milk chocolate, nothing to hide behind. It won Best Drinking Chocolate at the Chocolate Alliance Awards.
Tasting notes: milk chocolate, caramel, a long cocoa finish.
How to make it
Whisk 30 g (about 3 tablespoons) into a splash of hot milk to make a smooth paste. Add the rest of an 8 oz cup and heat gently, whisking, until it just simmers. Dairy or plant milk both work beautifully.
Try it poured over ice in summer, or with a shot of espresso for a Ghanaian mocha.
