Adwoa Drinking Chocolate
Spiced dark hot chocolate with prekese, made in Ghana. Bold, aromatic and quietly warming: our most decorated cup.
Adwoa is built around prekese, a West African spice with buttery, caramel notes and one of Chef Selassie's favorite ingredients, folded into single-origin Ghanaian dark chocolate. The rest of the blend stays our secret; the flavor speaks for itself. Gold, Chocolate Alliance Awards.
Tasting notes: dark chocolate, warm spice, caramel, a gentle heat that lingers.
How to make it
Whisk 30 g (about 3 tablespoons) into a splash of hot milk to make a smooth paste. Add the rest of an 8 oz cup and heat gently, whisking, until it just simmers.
Try it with oat milk for a fully vegan cup, or stirred into your morning coffee.
